Marissa Keltie is a singer/songwriter, musician, commercial model and voiceover artist based in Edinburgh.
She graduated with a BMUS (Hons) degree in 2007 specialising in Saxophone and Piano. She has been singing since childhood, turning professional in 2008. Since then she has performed over 1000 gigs in various line-ups.
Marissa is a seasoned vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and composer, having just celebrated her first No.1 single in the iTunes Classical Music chart in February 2022 with her piano composition ‘River and Reign’.
In 2016 Marissa began co-writing with UK No 1 selling vinyl artist Caroline Gilmour to form pop duo ‘The Eves’.
Recent single releases ‘Big Love’ (2022) and ‘Brand New Day’ (2021) have commanded attention from mainstream national radio stations, with both tracks making appearances on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Scotland. The tracks have also featured heavily on regional and online playlists across the UK and Ireland. Big Love was the pair’s first release as a co-write, written with Jim Duguid (Paolo Nutini) and Lewis Gardiner (Ellie Goulding, Nick Jonas).
Brand New Day spent a stunning 5 weeks on the BBC Radio 2. After starting out as ‘New to 2” on Ken Bruce, the track made it onto the C list, before being promoted to the B list, racking up numerous plays by OJ Borg, The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, Claudia Winkelman, Steve Wright, Ken Bruce, Michael Ball, Vanessa Feltz, Rylan on Saturday, Johnnie & Tiggy Walker and Tony Blackburn.
The track was also made ‘Single of the Week’ on BBC Radio Scotland, hit No. 6 and No. 15 in the iTunes pop charts and iTunes main download chart respectively, charted in the Amazon ‘New Hot Releases’ UK Chart, and made an impressive debut in the UK Official Charts Company download and single charts in the top 75. Bauer Media’s Forth 1 with Boogie and Arlene also gave the track a spin and interviewed the pair. The icing on the cake was a deal with top UK Sync agency A&G Songs.
Notable past live performances include a live session on BBC Scotland’s ‘The Quay Sessions with Roddy Hart’, opening for The Shires, TRNSMT, Radio Forth Awards, King Tuts Summer Nights, Country to Country at the OVO Hydro, Tiree Music Festival, Capers in Cannich and Vibration Festival. The duo have also made TV appearances on BBC Scotland’s ‘The Edit’.
The Eves also opened for the iconic Belinda Carlisle at the Kelvingrove Bandstand, Glasgow on the 29th July 2022.
As a voiceover artist, she has worked on projects and TV/Radio campaigns for clients including BBC Scotland, Scottish Power, the NHS, the Scottish Government, Johnnie Walker Whisky, and Universal Music Group.
As a commercial model for Model Team agency, Marissa has been involved in campaigns for global companies including British Airways, Bentley, Natwest, Tennent’s Lager, Scottish Opera and Heineken.
In the charity sector, Marissa holds music workshops and assists with live performance and recording studio projects with the 6VT Edinburgh City Youth Cafe – a charity specialising in providing support for young people from all walks of life.
She also set up and runs the U.K side of dog rescue 'Pico's Pack' with her Eve's partner Caroline - helping to raise awareness and funds to care for the street dogs in Serbia.
